  1. Hi Mah,
    Great blog here.
I used to sail Laser and 420 at Changi PA. I had my 420 stored there. Not sure if you still remember me.
I started fly fishing 2 years ago and had been living in the US since 2005. I am getting into switch rod and stumble upon your blog. Lots of great info here.
I am visiting Singapore end May till July, would love to meet and chat.

  2. Hello Mah,
Great blog. I used to sail with you and Gan in Singapore at Changi PA.
I started Fly fishing 2 years ago and bought Orvis Access 6WT Switch last year. No chance to use it yet as I've been traveling. Would love to chat with you about fishing when I get back to Singapore in June. I live in the US now.

    1. Hi Hendry,
Great to catch up with a fellow sailor again :) Its been a long long while since I sail a dinghy but it was a great chapter in my life. Fully enjoyed it.
Yes, I would love to catch up with you. I hang out in Coho Fly shop in Singapore every Sat evening. Please do visit Coho when you are back. You should be able to find me there. The people in Coho knows me well.

    2. Will do that, I know Coho moved. I was wondering if I should bring my switch rod back or just a regular fly rod. Do you fish in Singapore at all? All your pictures are shot overseas.

    3. We fished for Peacock Bass in Singapore reservoir. A regular 5wt should be good enough but if you want to practice your Spey, bring your switch rod along :)

    4. Great! I was watching your video but it's to learn by myself, trying to do the wiggle roll cast. I will bring a 4WT regular and a 6WT Switch. Both are Orvis Access Rod. I am currently using Orvis 6WT Switch line. Would you recommend something else?
